Sauce:
Water 1 cup
Spicy ketchup 1/2 cup
Tomato concentrate 2 tablespoons
Sweet paprika 2 teaspoons
Hot paprika 1 teaspoon
Cayenne chili pepper 1/3 teaspoon
Tomato concentrate 2 tablespoons
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Sugar 2 teaspoons
Salt
Pepper
Meat:
Pork shoulder 1.5 kg
Salt
Pepper
Sweet paprika
Wheat flour
Vegetables:
Red bell pepper
Yellow bell pepper
Chilli pepper
3 onions
Mushrooms 250 g
馃敧 Preparation:
Cut the pork neck into slices, season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Leave in the fridge for at least an hour, I left it overnight.
Coat the pork neck in flour and fry briefly on each side.
Mix the sauce ingredients together. Cut the vegetables into smaller pieces.
Place the meat layer in an ovenproof dish, add half of the fried meat slices and the remaining vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over everything and bake covered for about 60 minutes or until the meat is tender at 180 degrees.
You can also simmer the pork neck on low heat for about 60 minutes or until the meat is tender, or pressure cooker for 25-30 minutes.
